12 injured two buses collide in head-on crash in Birmingham.

Bush Crash Addion Road Kings Heath

Two drivers had to be cut free from the mangled wreckage after the smash in Birmingham. The single decker bus is seen to stop as the driver puts their brakes on and watches helplessly as a double decker hurtles towards the cab.

The footage then shows the loaded two-tier bus crash into the single decker - crumpling both cabs and injuring 12 passengers - after it was unable to stop.
It finally came to a standstill embedded in the smaller bus.
The two drivers had to be cut free from their cabs by firemen and are thought to have escaped with non-serious injuries.Local resident Tjark Schoenfeld said the buses should have had plenty of time to see each other on the straight stretch of the street - which is narrow due to parked cars.
He added: "According to police 12 people have minor injuries and one bus driver was quickly freed but it took a bit longer to cut the second free.
"The road is narrow because of parked cars but it is a long, straight bit of the road so the drivers should have seen each other with time to break.
"It isn't the first time there has been a crash on this very dangerous road, it is used as a race track by local drivers every day." watch footage  below...
